I'm from Poland but currently I'm an au pair in the US cause I decided to turn my life upside down and get the chance to make sth exciting. I'm creative, spontanious and always on the move with many ideas in my head. I love to meet new people, share cultural experiences and have fun travelling around the world. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to get to know the place I'm going to is to meet people living there. I learnt it on the hitchhiking trip we went on with my brother. I'm open for meeting new people and lots of them I met accidentally travelling. Still I have contact with some of them. I want to explore new places by sharing experiences with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very much in jazz and its other types but also like 70s, 80s and 90s with the funky, bouncy and dance feelings. I listen to different genres depending on the mood, classic rock, traditional jazz, jazz rock, pop, classical. Love musicals and good soundtracks from movies. Since I sang in a couple of choirs, I listen to choral music and enjoy acapella music very much. I read both fiction and non-fiction. I got through milions of crime stories and classic horrors by King. I like stories with complicated psychological plots and hate romance stories and romantic comedy. Love Almodovar's movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Buying flights to Sweden with my two friends one night within a couple of minutes to see the Northern Lights without any prepartion, equpiment and plan. In the train on our way to Abisko we accidentally met a boy who prepared the whole "catching" with equipment necessary to see the Aurora, a camera, snowman suits not to freeze, hot chocolate and trash bags for sledding. And we got it!
