About Me

CURRENT MISSION

transitioning from suburban to urban???

ABOUT ME

I like being active, learning new things, meeting new people, figuring out how things work, and using my hands to make things. I am looking to move out of the DC suburb of Gaithersburg and to Baltimore this summer. I was a teacher for 9 years (3rd grade, ESL, 1st grade) but am taking next school year off to see what else is out there for me.

I am mostly vegetarian, but also eat seafood -- I like to call it fake vegetarian, instead of pescatarian. I also love vegan food.

PHILOSOPHY

Life keeps going, keep growing!

-Leave No Trace
-Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
-DIY
-If the kids are united, they will never be divided
-Ideas are bulletproof

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a summer in Costa Rica working on organic farms. I loved the simple routine of waking up early, working hard, cooking food, and going to bed early to do it all again the next day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about English as a Second Language (ESL), working with kids, gardening, and making sock monkeys. You can teach me how to play the ukulele and how to ride my bike in the city.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Costa Rica

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
