About Me

ABOUT ME

Instagram: velable

https://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=5HQI3IUYK&from_search&search_ranking_locals=9 Actually, this is my previous account, but I forgot the password :P Everything there is still up-to-date. Especially the fact, that I am scatterbrained.

Interests

I am interested in many, many, many things and still finding new ways of spending leisure time.
I particularly enjoy watching films, listening to music and reading books (standard, I guess), however, I couldn't do without outdoor activities like cycling, running or hiking.
Apart from that for few years I have been interested in photography. I used to spend an awful lot of time taking photos, but now my interest has dwindled a little bit.
And I reaaally like learning new languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching almost all kinds of films. But I can say that westerns and war films appeal to me the most.
Epic pictures like Gladiator, Hobbit, Melancholy or my favourite Bourne trilogy also do the trick.
Oh, I love also old, black and white films like Casablanca or Chinatown.

UPDATE: For now I can say that my favourite film is Oliver Stone's "Platoon"

Damn. I love almost everything.

Reading is my other passion - I find belles-lettres particularly amusing but sometimes I really like to relax with horrors, detective stories, fantasy, science-fiction or history books.

I don't have favourite writers but I have read plenty of Agatha Christie, Robert Ludlum and Stephen Kings's. And recently, the new king of this list is Milan Kundera. If I had favourite writer that'd be him.

In terms of music I listen most often to rock (almost all kinds - indie, punk, psychodelic), classical and film's soundtracks.
As it is hard to get to know all bands or songs I am always open for new genres in order not to miss some great music.

Oh, and I know all discography of Leonard Cohen ans RHCP's . Not sure really how it has happened.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basics of japanese and talk a lot about this country and its culture and issues connected (I study Japanese language and culture). And I can play theme from Godfather on the harmonica :P
