ABOUT ME

I'm 36 and I am journalist, photographer, ecologist, traveler, firefighter volunteer.

I was born in Havana, Cuba, therefore I remember Spanish a little. Lived in Warsaw, therefore I speak polish. Once learned English, but there was nobody in my life to practice language, that's why I have to remember words and grammar again. So...Forgive my mistakes, please. I have started to learn Italian so I will be glad to communicate.

The photo is my hobby from the childhood. The wild nature, the reserved world and the people who have devoted their life to protection nature is interesting to me. The second theme in which I am interested are simple people from all over the world, their life, traditions, crafts, trades. I like being wholly adapted into the culture: tasting food, meeting local people and etc.

PHILOSOPHY

As for me, talking to people and traveling is a way of life. While traveling you can meet interesting people. And in a dialogue with them you can know their country and love it!
The most interesting people I met while traveling. And I was very pleased when on my birthday I get calls from all over the country and the world.
And with each new trip, I find new friends and new spots on my world map. The places I can return, the faces waiting for me. And I am happy this way!

I have no experience yet. I'm beginner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Usually I'm looking for staff in Russian reserves and come to them as a volunteer or find host in a small aborigen villages in expeditions. So, I've visited the "Shulgan-Tash" reserve in the republic of Bashkortostan, the anti-plague station in the Astrakhan region on the border with Kazakhstan, the Okskiy reserve in the Ryazan region, the old belivers village in republic of Tuva, the pomors village on a White Sea cost.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept in the snow during an expedition to the reserve at a temperature of -20 degrees Celsius and descended into a 30 meters depths in the cave Shulgan-Tash.
