ABOUT ME

Hello reader - I'm Natalia. My family likes to call me Natashka. Families.. Am I right? I was born in Almaty, Kazachstan and moved to Belgium with my mother and sister when I was 10. I had been living in Belgium ever-since, but decided it was time for a change and moved to Australia in September. Hmm, this is not a lot of space to describe myself - I'll try to sum things up for you. As most of the couch surfers here I'm very social and outgoing. I like to meet new people and discover new places. My love says I'm dreamy, but I like to think I'm optimistically realistic. I also like to think I'm open-minded to people and unknown things, but there is no such thing as a non judger, so I don't kid myself by thinking I am. But no matter what impression people give me at first sight, I will always try get to know them first and try to look for the best in them no matter what. I like to think of everyone as a friend, because of that some people call me overly social, but I don't see anything wrong with that, as there's no such thing as having too many friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed once, with my boyfriend, in Pisa. It was great to meet some locals!
I try to meet up with people who are travelling by themselves and locals to get to know each other and make lifelong friends.

I like to listen to music, because it enhances the mood I'm in. I like to discover new artists and songs. And listen to them on repeat until I'm sick of them (is that just me?).

I like being active, but I enjoy some cocooning on the couch with food and a movie too.

I moved to Australia to find great people and experience unforgettable moments. Moments like late night campfires, road trips, midnight talks while lying in the grass and looking at the stars, picknicks on sundays at Southbank with music at the background. Just celebrating and enjoying our youth to the fullest!

I couldn't even start to sum up everything I love. In books, movies and music I like things that are complicated and make you think, but I also like things that just make you laugh and happy for no reason. Movies you don't have to think about, music you can just jump and dance to. I like it all!
