About Me
Hi I am Natalie, I am 22 years old and have recently graduated from Sussex University where I studied Politics and International Relations. I am now living back at home just outside London and have started a full time job, however my ultimate dream is to eventually travel the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To celebrate my graduation last summer, I embarked on a road trip along the Atlantic Coast with my best friend Sophie. We had the best month ever, meeting so many wonderful couch surfing hosts along the way. All so different but wonderful in their own way!
I am using couch surfing to meet a variety of people, experience new cultures, and make connections all over the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like so much music! My favourite artist is Regina Spektor, i have been her number one fan since I was 12! I love classical music also, my favourite piece of music ever is Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland. I love a bit of motown and soul music, can't beat a bit of Marvin Gaye. Favourite band has to be Led Zeppelin, timeless!
Three favourite movies are: The Shawshank Redemption, Gladiator and the Departed. Any Tarantino movie does it for me, have seen them all numerous times! Not a fan of rom-coms, I like my movies with lots of action, violence and gore :)
I used to be a crazy bookworm, not so much anymore sadly. I love Russian literature and am proud to say I read the whole of Tolstoy's War and Peace on a family holiday when i was 16!I would say Anna Karenina and Crime and Punishment are the best books I have ever read. Not gonna lie though, the Harry Potter books are right up there and always will be.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once saved my little brother from drowning, so I guess that is amazing? It inspired me to become a qualified lifeguard.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook! I guess I can teach people to cook some culinary delights! My speciality is a nice spicy Chilli.
I am a bit of a talker so there won't be any long pauses in our conversation! I love learning about new people, I do enjoy asking questions, my parents used to call me Detective Inspector Natalie Cummins because I would never shut up with the questions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am no longer living as a student in Brighton so can no longer host. However I'm looking to get a place in London in the near future where I would love to host again!
