I love to love, I strive for new friendships, I seek for adventure, I desire to learn, and I thirst for travel.
I am 25 years old with two degrees, one in psychology and the other in human development and family studies. I am working as a family advocate and a lead teacher at Headstart. I have also been married to my husband for 2 1/2 years and we have two dogs that we love and spoil. My husband, Connor, would be traveling with me anywhere I go so be aware that we would need accommodations for two people. We have been wanting to travel more since we have been married, but we had other goals we had to reach before we could do that. We are very goal driven so trust me when I say, when we have a goal we will complete it. One goal was buying a house, which we have accomplished and would of course be open to anyone who welcomes us in their home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a deep desire to travel, which is very evident on my several Pinterest boards, I just haven't had the opportunity, resources, or money to do it until now. I am specifically on couchsurfing because I would like to save money because let's be real, my husband and I are not rich and he says if we are going to make this traveling thing happen we have to find a way to save money, so here I am! I hoping not only can I save money through this experience, but that my husband will be able to meet life long friends through this journey. We are really looking for women hosts, couples, or hosts with families as that is what we are. Oat comfortable with. We don't want any single or groups of men hosting us. That's not what we are looking for. We are hoping to find hosts that are relaxed and friendly. Someone who would like to share a few meals with us or show us a few local non-tourist destinations in their area, but who is also okay that we will have our own agenda and have a schedule for our visit with limited flexibility to change many plans as I am a planner and like to have everything organized before I go.

I will just put it out there, I love Harry Potter. HP for life! I also love reading romance novels and my guilty pleasure are teen novels like Fault in a our Stars, Selection series, and the Ranger's Apprentice. I love most movies especially chick flicks and super hero movies. Also be honest when I say I am a top 100 hits kinda girl when it comes to music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say it would be in the work I have done with children amd their families. Knowledge is one of the most important things in life and I love to be apart of planting that seed that in children.
