Hello there, we are Natalie and Violet. We originally met through work, and later became housemates and the closest of friends. We lived together in Santa Cruz for three years, and have recently bought a van that we renovated, and are traveling the United States.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are couchsurfing because when we stay in different places across the U.S. we hope to gain some local perspective on the cities we visit, and a little more culture than just going to the daily tourist spots. Also, building these relationships allow for later connections whether it be having them stay with us when we are no longer traveling or just life long friendship.

Interests

We both love hiking, surfing, backpacking, reading, going to farmers markets, and have recently taken up yoga.
Violet enjoys rock climbing, being a vegan, doing field studies(aka archeology), researching(archeology), and reading(about archeology).
Natalie does photography along with other art mediums, and occasionally enjoys a good matinee.

Violet has been Machu Picchu and Natalie has climbed Mt. Whitney.

The one downfall is that Natalie has a severe allergy to cats and along with most other animals...
