About Me

Hello!

My name is Natalie and I'm from London, UK. Currently travelling around the world with my boyfriend (and so unable to host at this time). So far we have spent 9 months travelling around South America (including 2 months in Peru working as volunteers for a children's charity), 3 months in Central America, 2 months sailing around the Caribbean on a very nice Swedish man's 10m sailing boat and are currently on a road-trip around Western USA taking in as many incredible National Parks as possible.

Our travels are soon coming to an end for this round, and we will shortly be returning to the UK, but we are hoping to make the most of the remaining time we have left.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of our favourite memories on our trips so far have been made after meeting the locals, and we thought that couchsurfing would be a good way to meet more people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite books at the moment are anything I can find in Spanish - so far it's the easiest way to maintain my Spanish skills while on the road!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was younger I used to compete competitively at Irish dancing - with my highlight placing in the top ten at the world championships. More recently I spent 2 months sailing around the Caribbean with 2 complete strangers who turned into amazing friends, catching mahi mahi and lobster for dinner and collecting coconuts for snacks.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love learning new things all the time - with the current favourites being Spanish, South American dance styles and the guitar.

I can teach irish dancing, a few words in Irish Gaelic and some free-diving skills. I would love to share recipes and travel tips.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully good stories and times! I also love to bake and try cooking new things.
