Overview
About Me
I'm 24, fairly educated, I've been travelling since I was young and started doing my own trips to cool (not your typical vacation spot) countries since I graduated high school. I'm not so interested in artsy things- I enjoy being active, getting lost, and exploring on my own, but I'm always down to try new things. Not a huge drinker, I don't smoke, but I can be friendly and social.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Trying to travel in a new way, figure I had better do it now before I never do. I think it could really add to my travel experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music genre is indie and alternative rock. Coldplay, Interpol and Metric are my favorite bands. I also listen to pop and generally anything on the top hits.
I like to read historically based books, mysteries and dramas, mostly. I read the newspaper online when I can to keep myself updated on worldly news.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed a glacier in Norway- one of my top travel experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've volunteered in Guatemala teaching English and Peace Studies to Mayan and indigenous children and I'm pretty good at learning languages. It would be fun to learn some words/ phrases/ customs from each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm fairly low maintenance, independent, but would welcome a chance to get involved in the local space/ lifestyle. I can be adaptable and amenable to things- except bugs- I draw the line at bugs.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belize, Canada, Denmark, El Salvador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom
