I teach English as a second language and have been living in Guadalajara, Mexico for about 5 years. I’m a huge foodie and adore discovering new cultures and ideas. I have a chill personality and am a good listener.

I’ve grown to love solo travel over the years as it’s opened the doors for me to break out of my comfort zone and make friends with so many amazing people on my trips. :) My favorite part of my travels has been the amazing friendships I’ve created through Couchsurfing.

At the time I’m not able to host guests as my boyfriend and I live in a small studio apartment in Guadalajara. However, we’re planning on moving soon to a bigger place so if you plan on visiting Mexico in the future feel free to reach out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people when I travel and think it’s the most authentic way to discover new places and cultures. My favorite interactions are with those whose lives are completely different from mine because it makes me realize how connected we all truly are. There is nothing more amazing than the ability to have friends from all over the world.

In terms of music I love almost every genre! Some of my favorites include 90’s rap, Latin Trap, oldies, and regional Mexican music.

I’ve watched more TV shows than I’m proud to admit haha and am always discovering new ones.

I’m a pretty big Stephen King nerd and would consider him my favorite author.

I also love podcasts and audiobooks!
