Overview
About Me
I am a master's student and I have been stuck on pause during this pandemic, but I need to get back to my life, so I am traveling again, this time, hoping to learn to surf, weld, and finish my thesis!
I love to nap in the sun after a day of gardening and reading.
I would like to meet you, learn from you, and cook you lots of delicious food, or garden with you, or, gosh if you want to teach me how to surf, that'd be the best. Really, anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using it when I went to Israel (2012) and I had such a good experience that I tried to be a kind of welcoming ambassador to people coming to my hometown.
Now I'm on the road again and I am super pumped to meet people wherever I go, hosts or just pals!
I like meeting people from all over the place, showing them around my home, and travelling and meeting people there.
I'm working out a few months of traveling to (hopefully) Panama, Colombia, and Peru, but my plans are still really flexible.
Interests
I like eating Snickers and learning about whatever someone else is interested in teaching me.
Also, watching sports - rugby, baseball, football/soccer, tennis, basketball, and playing sports - rugby, baseball/softball, badminton.
Oh! Books! I love reading and making up stories, storytelling, and writing silly poems.
My favorite thing to do in the countryside is hike around and sit at the top of a hill in the warm sun. In cities, usually walking around neighborhoods and checking out local art galleries is my activity of choice, but museums and pubs are always fun too. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I will read anything, but I also have favorites.
I watch a lot of mostly American and British TV, and happily absorb just about all movies and music presented to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I taught Chemistry to people who hated science, and they remember it, which is pretty amazing to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn whatever I can, always, and am happy to teach or share what I can, as well.
I can share old recipes, lots of science, funny stories and family folk tales, bad jokes, friendship, and card tricks.
I would love to learn to dance, cook more dishes, speak more languages.
I really like farming (hard work and eating what I have grown), so I want to learn more about that and hopefully someday have my own farm where visitors can come learn and work and chill. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, clean, wash(which is an extension of clean, right?), converse, share stories, craft, collaborate & listen. I will bake you bread, cookies, whatever you want. I can help you practice English, or Spanish.
I can fold you cool origami things (my dinosaurs are getting better!) and draw silly doodles for you, I guess. I can also share my growing meme library if you like memes.
