ABOUT ME

I am a restless wanderer :) I am 24 years old, love Jesus, and love experiencing the stunning world we live in. I am addicted to the color red and reading international news. I love trying new foods, drinking local beer, and listening to live music everywhere I go. I can never live somewhere without a mountain nearby for hiking, playing in waterfalls, camping, and skiing. I teach high school English in Caracas, Venezuela. Reading great literature captures the universal human experience, and I highly recommend you read to learn about yourself. I grew up in Virginia, Texas, Ohio, and Germany, and plan to keep on moving.

PHILOSOPHY

Claim this life--you only get one. Soak it up! I try to follow the teachings of Jesus. I don't believe in living only for yourself. I believe in grace and 2nd chances. I believe all people have inherent worth just by existing. Get out of your comfort zone and do things that scare you. Go out of your way to be nice to people around you. Be joyful. Wander.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just found out about couch surfing, and am currently not able to offer my couch to people. I hope that in the near future I will be able to. I would love to get to host some of the wonderful CS people out there!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I am super impressed with the couch surfing community and cannot wait to get more involved!

I love LIFE. I love being outside, reading, running, drinking water, hot tea, and beer. I love sitting by the fireplace watching snow fall down outside. I love the beach. I love cooking and trying to make new foods. I have a slight addiction to chips and salsa and love all Mexican food! I love playing tennis, and I love the color red.
