About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To appreciate each day that I am given, and to discover what will truly make me happy in life!

PHILOSOPHY

To make the most of each day that I have been given, to accept people for how they are and to never underestimate the power of forgiveness!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CouchSurfing experience took place in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. I was blessed with an absolutely incredible host who I am eternally grateful to! (Thank you, Gabriel!) :) All of my hosts to date have been incredibly generous and kind people, who I am so fortunate to have met!

Interests

Reading, learning, drawing, talking, running, walking, mountains, ocean, canoeing, camping, hiking, animals, music, crafts, volunteering, laughing, eating! :)
I am in love with the outdoors- and have been since I was a child! Growing up in the countryside was an experience I would not trade for anything. I learned to swim, canoe and kayak at a young age and my happiest memories involve summers at the lake and week-long canoe trips with numerous summer camps. I am on a mission to finish University and get back to my roots!

Movies: Documentaries, 127 Hours, La Vie Est Belle

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling throughout East Africa was one of the most memorable journeys in my life so far! I saw a tornado in the Serengeti, got lost in the sea on my way to Zanzibar and watched the sun come up over Kilimanjaro at 15,000 feet :)
