About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn to be tolerant of other cultures by travelling and learning from a locals point of view

ABOUT ME

I am open minded to being an active member of this global village we live in. I am constantly looking for a venue to express my creativity whether it be making jewelry or writing, dancing, or cooking. I am in search of what line of work attracts me most. I plan on spending the next year working on an organic coffee bean farm in Ecuador and volunteering at an Orphange, while perfecting my Spanish, and hopefully picking up another language. I have many dreams and see that they be followed through because anything is possible and this world is full of opportunities.
I have a mother from Ecuador and a father from Serbia which has allowed me to be brought up in an eclectic background full of travelling and rich in culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Make everyday count. Life is full of possibilities and countless laughs. Do not look back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Growing up, my family hosted many friends from all over and I intend to continue on welcoming people into my home; learning from their culture and being able to contribute as well when I am on my journeys. Specifically, I love the exchange of cooking recipes and customs around eating.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had one official couch surfing experience in Amsterdam with a lady who introduced my friends and I to another side of Amsterdam I would have not known otherwise. I learned of an amazing volunteer oranization down in South America which I will now be taking apart of. She took us out to eat, we danced on a terrace to a local band and shared great stories.
