ABOUT ME

2 happy girls who never heard of each other in nearly 20 years, met in New Zealand, the other side of their world - and got stick to each other.
We're from different parts in Germany, Natalie from the south, near the border to Switzerland and me-Johanna- from Frankfurt. So we probably had never met if it hadn't been for our decision to explore beautiful NZ!It would have been a pity. We came to NZ in September 2009, just out of school and barely experienced in travelling on our own but eager to see the world from a new point of view, and were happy to learn to know each other in Paihia. We met again and again in different places and in the end we decided to travel to Australia together.

So here we are! it's only a short time, 3 weeks, we have in that huge country but we wanna do exactly the same like in NZ:Get everything out of that journey that is possible! To experience as much real OZ as possible, we decided to try couchsurfing to get in touch with people who can hopefully show us Australia and its lifestyle.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's a trampolin.it's an up and down up and down...at the deepest point its just about to throw you up again:so keep bouncing!

Since we just subscribe for

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we are couchsurfing virgins ;-) but we both took part in the woofing program (working on a farm for accomodation), so thats nearly the same: sleeping on a couch at totally strangers (in the beginning) and leaving as friends. we both really enjoyed our time, getting a clue what real new zealand farm life is about.

Music, Movies, and Books

One day drama one day comedy,thriller,lovestory...it's all up to what I feel like.(I feel pretty often like Pride and Prejudice;)and since I'm away from home like the airport-scene in "Actually...Love")^^
the same with music.Rock is my favourite and i love Reggae,i love music that makes me dance without recognizing it. Ok, electro,only if I'm in a really good mood.(Johanna)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

we know thats nothing special at this side of the world, but for us european girls bungy and skydiving was one of the most exciting things we've ever done.

Yeah and actually...step into a plane, alone, not knowing what expects you after a 24hour flight at the other side of the world.
