I was born and raised in the US, in the beautiful state of Louisiana. I've recently moved to Thailand and am not in a position to host at the moment, but would still be down for meeting other travelers!

Interests

I love exploring and discovering new things- I like to look at the world from different perspectives and learn from each new one. I like taking the road less traveled. I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories...where they're coming from, where they're going. I love being outside (hiking, canoeing, camping), and I have a particular love for heights- hence, I quite enjoy climbing (trees, mountains,..) I enjoy reading and writing, although it's often hard for me to find enough time to do those as much as I'd like. And I also like to sing, just for the fun of it. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a pretty wide variety of music. I particularly enjoy movies and books that carry some kind of meaningful message in their plot. My favorite book of all time is Les Miserables, not because it was a fun, easy read, but because it made me see the world and people in a new way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled solo in several foreign countries. It can be a little scary and even lonely at times, but it's a very rewarding experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share stories, ideas, culture, good conversation (in English or French)... just an overall good experience with a host. :) If they are free and willing to explore the area with me, great!
