About Me

I am an Australian about to make the transition to Pennsylvania, U.S.A via England and Scotland. I love travelling and meeting new people and seeing new things.
I am unable to host right now unfortunately as I am renting a room off of a friend until I make my move overseas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing to be able to meet new people and to be able to get a locals view on the areas I visit.

Interests

I like walking around cities and exploring all the hidden nooks and crannies as well as bushwalking and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like quite an eclectic assortment of music. My all time favourite that I never get bored of is Simon and Garfunkle. I also really like Trampled by Turtles, Bonnie Tyler (don't judge), The Beatles... others as well but I'm never great at remembering names of songs and bands.
fave movie is Natural Born Killers. Also really like Amelie and Dirty Dancing. Saw a movie the other day that might get added to the list called the 100 foot journey.
Now books, I do love reading. One of my fave's is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Steven King. My favourite childhood book was actually another of his titled Rose Madder. Another is Ken Follet's Pillars of The Earth, The Potato Factory (and following books in the Series by Bryce Courtney. Actually, anything really by Bryce Courtney, he even writes a harrowing true story accounts about the trials his haemophiliac son went through including getting aids from a blood transfusion in the 80's. Courtney is an incredibly emphatic person who seems to be at the forefront of thinking when it comes to humans rights issues such as racism and homophobia and it really shows through in his books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mount Fuji.
Lived life in a rather spectacular way.
