About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make it through PT school and dance as much as possible!!!

ABOUT ME

I am usually pretty shy however if we have a common interest I can talk your ear off for years! I rarely take a photo with a straight face and I could quite literally eat mashed potatoes for every meal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did a little couchsurfing years ago because I was jealous of my sister who could never shut up about how amazing it is! I haven't participated for a while but I would like to get back into meeting people of all walks of life.

Interests

Physical Therapy, Highland Dancing, Sushi, Doctor Who/Simpsons/Futurama/Star Wars, Theatre, Costume Design, sewing my own clothes, Japanese culture, and other similar melarky.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
- I listen to a lot of Highland dance themed music, so if you like bagpipes you're in! I also love classical music and musicals.

Books:
- Harry Potter, Howl's moving castle, Narnia.... an now I am reading a lot of text books at the moment so I have little time for anything else :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Scotland in 2006 with my family. That was the first time I was really introduced to Scottish Highland Dancing, after that trip I taught myself some of the dances, auditioned for dance classes, and it eventually lead me to my desire to be a physical therapist for dancers.

I also traveled to Japan in High School, where I was lucky enough to have the most amazing host family take care of me. Japan is a place full of extremely friendly people and I would love to go back some day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a nearly photogenic memory of all The Simpsons and Futurama episodes, and I can share a love for Doctor Who. Other than that, I know how to sew and make my own clothes, I can entertain you with a traditional Scottish Dance, and I play a mean pub quiz!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Japan, Scotland
