About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living with no regrets.
ABOUT ME
Grew up in South Korea, have been living in the States for about 10 years now.
I confuse myself sometimes and still not sure if I have figured out myself totally. I am told that I am very open-minded and easygoing. I laugh a lot and sometimes people think that I'm never sad--not true. I have a lot of interests that it's hard for me to keep up with. But nothing in life has made me happier than music yet.
I love meeting people and people around me. I think every single person is very interesting and everyone has a story. It's true that not every person I meet will click with me or be my best friend forever. But what I think is that more actively you seek other people and befriend them, you have more possibilities to meet someone who makes you say "OMG WHY DIDN'T I KNOW YOU BEFORE." Haven't we all had that happened? Whenever I feel like that it makes me feel that life is beautiful.
I am a bit of an idealist but well...there are too many thoughts I have about this and the world. And I don't have an organized thought to share at the moment.

Interests
Music is my passion. especially love bossa nova and jazz. I play jazz piano so naturally...I love JAZZ! I was in a jazz combo once and the feeling I got when we would improvise was indescribable. I love singing also and participated in a lot of choir/musicals in high school and some in college. I have learned piano, violin, clarinet, flute, guitar, haegeum(korean traditional string instrument) but really...piano is the only thing I can play well and still struggling with guitar and haegeum....it's really sad. But I'd really like to learn some percussion later!
I like being outdoors hiking, walking around, playing tennis and snowboarding!
I love learning languages....English I was kind of forced to learn...but spanish and chinese because I wanted to. After getting better in spanish and chinese I want to learn hindi because I love Bollywood!
I also like to dance and have done ballet, jazz, hiphop, ballroom, popping, locking, house, and tap and still dancing some of them whenever I get a chance. I did krump once in a cypher even though I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but it was seriously an amazing experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a 12 hour bus ride in Thailand to meet up with strangers and we island hopped for a week. We still keep in touch and have reunions! Talking about and reliving those moments were almost as amazing as the actual experience.
did an internship through IAESTE in Germany (I was trying to make it to South America but I guess you don't always get what you want in life) but it was absolutely the best time of my life. Met so many amazing people from all over the world!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure what specifically but I'm sure I can learn something from you and you can learn something from me. The little unintended things sometimes really touch your heart--for me it does at least.
