To lead a happy and fruitful life and follow my heart, dreams and passions. To share my life with existing and new friends and family and have lots of fun together!

ABOUT ME

I've lived in Devon for 5 years now having moved down here after University. I came down here to initially follow my dream of working with young people and horses and it's taken a while to get there but I'm almost living it!

I have just finished a PGCE to teach languages and got a part time job in a democratic school in Ashburton where I live. There are only 70 students there and the school is run by both students and teachers. It's a really positive environment and really suits me and the way I want to interact with young people.

I set up a voluntary Organisation - Dartmoor Pony Training Centre, www.dptc.org.uk in 2005 and we work promoting Dartmoor Ponies and providing training information on working with wild ponies using natural, positive reinforcement techniques (e.g. non confrontational and based on building up trust over time.)

I am now the director of a Community Interest Company called Sirona Therapeutic Horsemanship (www.sironacic.com) and we have just gone independent. We have worked with young people in Foster Care, Youth Offending Teams and Pupil Referral Units. The centre is based near Totnes and the people and horses involved are all fantastic!

Apart from all this I love: riding, camping, walking, cooking, swimming (especially in the sea and rivers,) singing, music, socialising, reading, speaking languages, travelling - although I need to work out a way of doing more of this now I have more responsibility in the UK....

I love meeting new people and learning about different ways of living and different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep your heart open to all the beautiful experiences that are presented to you. Be open and honest with the people you meet and love; in your actions and your words. Follow your dreams and heart's desires and surround yourself with people who will support you in this quest and love you unconditionally in return for your love! We all know our true path in our hearts, it's just sometimes hard to listen openly.
