Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Camps need to deviate from the planned route
I hope to find housing in a location not far from the old walking route or ferry location
Also, getting to know new people and life is the most valuable thing in life
We need accommodation for 1-2 nights
We can also pitch a tent in the yard and ask only to take a shower and use the kitchen

Interests

In the past, I was only interested in history, castles, visiting museums

 My friends joked with me when I was planning the route that I definitely forgot to include +1 museum

 Now I am attracted to observing nature

 Most of all, I like to study the traditions and beliefs of people before the introduction of Christianity (I am a Greek Catholic by faith and visiting church)

 I like to sing, especially folk songs that our grandmothers used to sing

 I like to decipher ancient symbols on stone, on clothes

 I like to visit the theater, the philharmonic, and dance groups

 I like food rich in taste

Music in the style: country, retro, Irish motifs, instrumental music
Movies
To unwind, I watch American love movies or comedies
But 3 films stuck in my head that I would watch a couple of times:
Soldier Jane with Demi Moore
Joe Black, a philosophical film with Brad Pitt
Legends of the Fall, a romantic drama also starring Brad Pitt

Books
I did not have the patience to read the book from A to Z
Therefore, I read books selectively, and these are books from: history, ethnography, ethnology
Most of all, I like to read short scientific articles in various fields

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am fascinated by the fact that I, being very shy in the past, having no skills in tourism, created my own business
New routes have appeared on the tourist market of Ukraine with the visit of folk craftsmen in mountain locations

What I Can Share with Hosts

Can tell how visiting folk craftsmen who own sheep have oak looms and weave sheep wool: warm blankets with ceremonial patterns, small rugs on the floor, upper weaving clothes (antique and modern) for a photo shoot or to order to buy
I can cook traditional Ukrainian cuisine: borscht, varenyky and fried pampukhy with Rose jam
