Hi:) My name is Natasha and I am from Kazakhstan. But I am studying in Italy now. I am an all-round person as I like so many different things and have a lot of hobbies. But what I am most passionate about is learning and teaching languages. Now I am doing my PhD in the Universities of Verona and Bolzano and working as an English and Russian teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am curious, and I like learning about different cultures and traditions. This all seems so fascinating to me.

Being a student is not very easy to travel the world. I am glad there is this Couchsurfing website that can solve this problem.

Interests

I can't imagine my life without sport. I do crossfit, powerlifting, yoga, and calisthenics. I also do postcrossing, I collect postcards from all around the world and I am very happy all the time I get a new one in my mail box. I am a theater-goer. I also like reading, painting, DIY and handiwork.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all genres and all kinds of music.
My most favourite books are "Dandelion wine" by Ray Bradbury, "the Handmaids Tale" by Margaret Atwood and a play "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf " by Edward Albee.
