About Me

I am a journalist. I write texts about culture, especially movies, and on social topics (ecology, human rights, LGBTIQ+). I also work at an international film festival, where we show movies from Belarus, Scandinavia and the Baltic States.

I am passionate about learning something new. And I really like the process of learning something. Movement, development, new experiences - that's all I am constantly striving for. I love people, breakfast, photography, movies, hiking, mountains, yoga, flowers, dogs. I like hitchhiking because every time I meet amazing people that I would hardly meet in everyday life. I've been longboarding as of late, and that's also on the list of things I enjoy.

I'm a very open-minded person: to people, to opinions, to traditions, to cultures and to everything.

I can't go back to my homeland, which makes me very sad. But I try to live a full life and I believe that soon the countries under terror will be free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing is an amazing platform for searching for like-minded people, as well as people with whom you hardly ever met and talked to in everyday life.
In addition, I like to leave the comfort zone and it seems to me that couchsurfing is a great way to do this.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching movies and studying cinema history. I'm still looking for my favorite director, but I love watching Jim Jarmusch, Xavier Dolan, and Noah Baumbach films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I respect non-formal education and I studied in a journalism course. As part of this course, I wrote my first longrid in just two days. I believe that this is the height of productivity, so I am proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a journalist, so I try to be a versatile person and be interested in different areas of life. I would be glad to talk about art and creativity, ecology and environment, travel. But of course, I am open to new knowledge and interesting conversations about everything.
I am good at listening to people and their stories.
