To connect with other CSers for lodging and new experiences
I'm an engaging, happy-go-lucky social butterfly who's always game for meeting new people and experiencing new things, which I suppose is why I'm on this site. The ones who know me best would say I'm loyal and generous, maintaining far and wide friendships throughout my years of traveling.
I like to think I bridge the gap between a city girl and an outdoor adventurer. My trips usually fall into the latter with my ideal vacations involving some elements of camping, scuba-diving, and hiking. I recently abandoned the fast life of NYC for the windswept coastline of California. Still awestruck by the beauties of San Francisco and the outskirts. My typical weekends are spent trying new restaurants and bars, catching a concert, trying to discern the subtleties of the city's competing coffees (still undecided), biking to the beach, or dancing it up to some soul and motown. If I manage to get away for the weekend it's usually a camping excursion to Big Sur, the redwoods, or Tahoe.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing the ruins of Petra in Jordan was a magical experience, albeit one that led me to pull out my back and spend the night sleeping in the warm kitchen of a Jordanian hostel. The other awe-inspiring moments definitely occurred underwater, whenever I'd see a manta ray or become enveloped by a school of fish.
