About Me
My name is Natasha: a teacher, student, traveler and outdoors sports enthusiast. Insta: @dreamer.natashka | Facebook: Natasha Cortinovis
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet local people in the places I visit, see, or pass by in, because I'm a traveler, and I like to make friends for life everywhere I go.
Interests
I am an outdoorsy who's into intense hiking, trail running, ski mountaineering, biking, surfing, open water swimming, white water kayaking, and tennis. I'm also an avid traveler. I am planning on bicycle packing the entire California.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the Prey Books by John Sanford, the Twilight, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings Sagas, as well as the Shadowhunters Books. I'm an avid reader every day of the year. I also love reading National Geographic articles.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently biked from Berkeley over the Golden Gate Bridge to downtown San Francisco, and also mountain biked Tomales Point at Point Reyes National Seashore.
I also visited the California coast from San Diego full of sea lions to Big Sur ❣️
I roadtripped around Colorado and New Mexico with a rooftop tent. I hiked the highest peaks of Arizona (Humphreys Peak) and New Mexico (Wheeler Peak).
I dog sat a wonderful Malinois named Mila (Milina, for me) on my dear island of Saba (Dutch Caribbean) for three weeks. I cried every night for a week after I left.
I became Advanced Diving Certified on Saba, and swam 1/3 of the coastline of the island (5 hours in open and wavy ocean waters).
I have hitchhiked from Morgantown (WV) to Detroit, and stayed with a wonderful couchsurfer for a month in Oregon, and visited all the best hot springs in the area.
I have hiked the Kalalau Trail, on the Na Pali Coast of Kaua'i.
I have a CV of all the summits I've reached in the European Alps, and elsewhere.
I've hitchhiked for a month around Costa Rica and Panama in my mom's company.
I saw monkeys and crocodiles in Costa Rica, swam with dolphins on Hawai'i, observed Hawaiian seals and sunsets daily on Punta Kaena (Oahu), visited alligators on the Florida Keys, swam with turtles and reef sharks in the Pacific Ocean, and saw a brown bear in the High Tatras in Northern Slovakia.
I've seen hot lava 🌋 on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
The island of Saba, in the Ducth Caribbean, is one of the most incredible places I've ever been on.
I have hiked bits and pieces of Selvaggio Blu in Sardinia, and taught English and French in the town of oranges and lemons (Muravera, Sardinia).
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to cook in company, sip teas and coffees with ginger and plant milk on a porch, and enjoy deep conversations; I also love to share outdoors adventures, even if it's just a walk outside.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer friendship, loads of stories, connections for life, travel plans, and vegan dishes.
