I am currently living in Cape Town and keen to meet new people from all over the world, and also to travel more. I love dancing, music, the beach and nature, interested in culture and history, and also tech, as I work in the field designing and building alternative wireless networks such as community networks for development.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would be happy to host people for a short time at my apartment in Cape Town, as I am keen to meet new people from all over the world. I also want to travel some more and get to know people who may host me in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Everything from Classical music (especially the Romantic period of Brahms, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Sibelius), to the Soul singers of Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, to Reggaeton, to some recent more mainstream music of Bruno Mars, Cardi B and many others.
Movies: Huge fan of the MCU - super excited for Infinity War and really loved the Black Panther movie. I also like historical movies such as Hidden Figures or the Imitation Game, and Fantasy.
Books: My bookshelf is full of a wide variety of books, including Classics, fiction, fantasy, science fiction, biographies, science and history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed up the side of a waterfall in Thailand (obviously I didn't climb the water, but the rocks that formed the kind of wall over which the water was rushing)
