Interests

I play roller derby and spend a lot of time outdoors, when I'm not working in the lab or on the farm, or fighting with my data. I also enjoy live music and games of about any variety. I love trying new things, especially foods.

My formal area of expertise is animal husbandry, genetics and behavior. Want to get into sheep or beef farming? I can point you the right direction. I'm not bad with animal behavior problems, either - I have a good bit of both professional and personal experience with domestic and wild animals. I can also knit and cook pretty decently, and I'm quite good on roller skates.
