To live life through kindness, amazing experiences, and pursuing passion over material wealth.
I'm working to make my passions my livelihood, and I am passionate about food and travel (who isn't?!) Trotting the globe and seeing how differently people live their lives around the world has captured my curiosity and feeds my venturous heart and soul. I have lived multiple lives vicariously through the relationships and experiences I've gained with people around the world. It's amazing to witness cultures collide and beautiful to know that no matter how different our ways of life are, we are all human. I consider myself to be a very open minded individual who is all ears to many ways of life and thinking. I am an independent, cerebral woman with big dreams and a strong work ethic to match, yet I know how to let loose, enjoy the little things, and live life in the present.
Life isn't about where you are or where you will be. It's about the relationships you make and break along the way that challenge who you are, your identity, and all that you stand for.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've used Couchsurfing as a means to save money, create amazing international relationships, and most of all, participate in once-in-a-lifetime experiences that no amount of money can buy. I Couchsurfed throughout all of Europe in 2013 and 2014.
I've couch surfed with so many wonderful hosts throughout northern Europe in Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Leuven, and Paris. Every experience has been different and great in their own way! I've had a hosts give me their own beds to sleep in and others who've given me the keys to their apartment while they went away for the weekend. I've had hosts take me out around the town until the sun came out and hosts who quietly crept into bed by 9. I've also made some great memories camping with fellow Couchsurfers for 4 days who happened to be going to the same festival I was attending. Taking all these stories into consideration, when I host, I do my best to pass on the hospitality I received overseas and show my guests all that Los Angeles has to offer. I am eternally grateful for all of my experiences through Couchsurfing, and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
I have a curious mind, and I find interest in even the smallest of details and the simplest of pleasures. I enjoy philosophical conversations, sunshine, and ice cream. I love swimming in the ocean, going on nature hikes, and staying out until the sun comes up. I live to eat and in addition to having an adventurous soul... I also have adventurous taste buds, although there is no better meal in the world than simply having wine, bread, and cheese. I enjoy dancing to anything from live music to club beats. Being a night-owl runs in my family, but so is the mind-set of living life in the moment.
