ABOUT ME
I'm an easy going person that likes to get along with lots of different kinds of people. There is almost always something people share interest or value in. I love to have fun and am easy going, if a bit shy.
Interests
I happily spend most of my free time riding my bicycle. I also love the outdoors in general, hiking, backpacking, traveling, and camping. I love the many artistic and creative pursuits but don't really have one of my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I went backpacking in Alaska, U.S.A., in the summer of sophomore year in high school, I took part in a National Outdoor Leadership School program. The first two weeks were backpacking in the Northern Talkeetna Mountains, and the last two weeks were sea kayaking in the Prince William Sound. I remember being awestruck sea kayaking next to glaciers in the Prince William Sound near Anchorage, Alaska. Every couple minutes a thunderous crack could be heard and we would all look to see a house sized chuck of glacier falling into the sea. The whole trip in Alaska was amazing.
Backpacking trips are what stick out in my memory for whatever reason. I love mountains. I would say the second most amazing moment for me was backpacking with three friends in the Wind River mountain range in Wyoming, U.S.A. We went late in the season, snow was already on the ground for the winter and nights were freezing cold and uncomfortable. The extremes had advantages though. A fairly popular spot earlier in the season, we saw no one else on the well marked trails through the mountain range. Also, as an area notorious for lots of bugs, the cold put them away for the season. Hiking under blue skies all day for four days, through the most magnificent areas I have ever seen, qualifies as one of the most amazing things that I have done.
