About Me

Hey, I’m Nathan . I’m a singer and looping artist from Galway, Ireland,
Im usually found playing in pubs in or around the city and/or busking when the weather behaves. Music’s been my life for years — I travel light, play hard, and love meeting new people through songs, stories, and the occasional late-night jam.

When I’m not performing, I’m usually exploring new places, hunting down good coffee, or planning my next adventure (I’ve got my eye on cruise gigs and a few far-off destinations). I’m easygoing, clean, and always up for good conversation or a spontaneous tune.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel for music and love connecting with locals instead of just passing through hotels. Couchsurfing feels like the right way to meet real people, share music, and get a taste of everyday life wherever I end up. I’ve hosted and been hosted before — it’s always led to good stories, unexpected friendships, and the occasional jam session that goes on way too late.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything with soul or groove. I play acoustic, rock, blues/jazz but I listen to everything from Ed Sheeran to Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac to Miles Davis and even a bit of house/techno when I’m on the move. I love discovering local street musicians and jam sessions wherever I travel.

Books:
Mostly biographies, travel stories, and a bit of psychology or philosophy — people like Anthony Bourdain, Paulo Coelho, or anything that makes you think differently about life.

Movies:
Big fan of classic films and smart storytelling — The Godfather, Inception, Into the Wild, Good Will Hunting, and anything with great music or meaning behind it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel the world with music and meeting and connecting with top class musicians from around the globe.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can show you a few guitar tricks, looping basics, or how to turn a simple melody into a full song.
Learn: Always keen to pick up bits of language, local music styles, and stories from the places I visit.
Share: Songs, good energy, and maybe a few Irish pub tales — plus a jam session if you’ve got an instrument lying around

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, great conversation, and live music right in your living room if you’re up for it. I’m tidy, respectful, and happy to help out around the house. I can cook a decent meal, share a few songs, and bring a bit of Irish energy (and humour) wherever I stay.
