ABOUT ME

I studied abroad in England for the spring of 2011, and it gave me a deep appreciation for other cultures and introduced me to the wonderful couchsurfing community. I love writing short fiction, the outdoors, all sports, reading, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Christ is my savior. I live for him each day. As Christ loves everyone, so I strive to love everyone. I have my own faults, so I promise I won't try to point out yours. I can be friends with pretty much anybody.

Also, I love this quote.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I looked for places to stay during my travels around Europe and the UK. Now I want to host people when I can and surf around the USA when I am traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing experience:

- Leeds, England. I was with a group of 4 people. We stayed with Mike and Lorrie, and they were absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed my first experience.

-Dublin. I was in Dublin for St. Patrick's Day in 2011. Again, I traveled with three of my friends from University. We stayed with some Estonians! They were great people and fun to hang out with.

-London. I was in London in March 2011. We flew to London after St. Patrick's Day. We spent 4 days in London and surfed with Jordan. He was a great host. We cooked several meals with him and enjoyed hanging out with him.

Berlin, Germany- Stayed 3 days with Shivam while inter-railing around Europe for my Easter break.

Budapest, Hungary- We surfed for one night Budapest. It was a wonderful city, but unfortunately I only go to stay for one day.

Bavaria, Germany- We surfed for two nights in the Bavarian Alps. This was by far my favorite surf.

I love to read, and I will read pretty much anything, but recently I've been on a fantasy kick. George R.R. Martin and Scott Lynch are two of my favorite authors.
