I grew up hiking, camping, and fishing in the Cascade Mountains near Seattle, and have been in love with nature ever since.

My boyfriend and dog, Toby, are almost always adventuring with me. If I'm adventuring alone, I'm always happy to meet friendly new people to share unrepeatable experiences with! I find happiness is always much sweeter when it's shared.

I'm typically somewhat introverted, but I still love meeting new people. I view Couchsurfing as one of many opportunities to put my wanderlust spirit out there.

I told my boyfriend I'm marrying Sufjan Stevens if he comes out and wants me.

Good Will Hunting, Hero, and Amelie are definitely some of my favorite movies. Anything by Pixar or Hayao Miyazaki are what you'll usually find me watching, though.

C.S. Lewis is my favorite author. My favorite book of his, by far, is The Great Divorce. It's a quick read. Check it out! ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to backpack through Europe by train for 2 months when I was 18. It was an amazing experience that helped open up my perspective as I was growing into adulthood.
