CURRENT MISSION

Life is about the changes we make and our personal progression through those changes. As of the start of 2017 I started a change an progression within my personal life and professional career. I founded and now run an international non-profit that focuses on empowerment of kids and their community through documentary film-making.
My mission is to travel the world and help community's tell their own story to the world. To give an unbiased view from the people that make the community. In many ways, the exact reason that Couchsurfing resonates with many of us. Through My Eyes Foundation is the nonprofit, and I hope that one day soon we will meet and show me the beauty of your community.

ABOUT ME

I am a filmmaker and photographer that has shifted his life towards helping others. I love to travel for the chance to understand ways of life, cultures and better understand myself through the process.

PHILOSOPHY

Take time to listen to others, to understand them. Nobody ever listens anymore. In the process, you will find yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a constant traveler of the world. I find myself somewhere new all the time, and constantly looking to here for a place to stay or a guide. When I am not traveling, I try to open my home to surfers. If that isn't possible, I happily will meet for food, drinks, or just being a guide. Expanding upon this: I have started a nonprofit that relies on coming into community's and working with them..to help them tell their stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences have been nothing short of AMAZING. I at times find people not even on the site, and help how I can. For my experiences here though, it has been grand. I love meeting people from all walks of life. Each interaction leaves me with a bit more knowledge and a fiercer passion to see our beautiful world.

Well it's fun to see how things have changed over the years. I enjoy a glass of wine and a good conversation. Photography has become just as prevalent as filming for me.
