About Me
Where should I start?
From doing volunteering, to travelling solo, life has been quite the ride and I wouldn't have it any other way. Every acquaintance has enriched me in ways I would never have imagined, and I hope I did the same for them💜.
On a sidenote, I'm an undergraduate working as an English Teacher for middle school. Also, I tutor adults and lead a Conversation Club for Adults, launched by the institution I work for.
On my free time, I write stories for my enjoyment (and for my friends', when they push me enough for me to have the guts to share them🫣), do a lot of reading (from Beach Read to They cage animals are night, or any compelling story I can get myself into) and love meeting new people, while I show them around - Buenos Aires has a lot to see and enjoy 🗺️.
A little bit about me:
Uhm... I really like showing my city around and also shed some lights about our history, so if we meet up, you'll take two and get one free: show you around and also give you some juicy details about our culture
Send me a message if you want to meet up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love meeting people from all kind of backgrounds, I love exchanging ideas and experiences. Let's do this 💪🏼😀
Interests
Since I was a little kid, I've been really into languages and I would get excited at hearing stories of travelling and adventures.
Due to covid, most of the time spent at home has watered my love for writing, something I've been passionate since was a teen. I occasionally paint when I feel like it since it takes my mind off things.
- painting
- sightseeing
- long walks
- teaching spanish
- teaching english
- finding new places
Music, Movies, and Books
Latest song paused on my Spotify playlist: Say it by Emily Hearn
Books: The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales by Oliver Sacks, The bell jar by Sylvia Plath, Nothing to envy by Barbara Demick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went on a 10km trekking up to a mountain peak with some guys I've met on a hostel to see the stars at night at Refugio Frey.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy my profession so we can always have a language exchange. But... I think that there's no learning without immersing yourselves in our cuisine so I suggest you to enjoy Argentinian food as much as you can.
