ABOUT ME

I'm a 22 year old Brazilian Au Pair currently living in Naarden, The Netherlands. I want to travel as many countries as posible during my au pair year, meet new people and make friends, get to know a lot of places and cultures. I'm very easygoing but I like staying on my own sometimes, just reading a good book or watching a good movie. I also enjoy being in the company of nice people. I'd love to make new friends in every country I visit. In general you'll find it easy to talk to me about Politics, music, my country, books, movies and all this stuff. All I want is to have a good time!

PHILOSOPHY

- Whatever future holds for you will come true no matter what. Don't try to force situations just because you think it's the best for you, there's some bigger force that'll guide you to the right path one way or another.
- You can't change what's been and gone, but you can always start again and make sure you won't make the same mistakes again.

I'm looking for couches to stay at. Unfortunately, can't host, because I live with a "host family".
(I have future plans of hosting though, when I go back to Brazil.)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Agatha Christie is my favorite writer, but I enjoy all kinds of novels as long as they're a good time passer.Music: Aerosmith, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Rage Against The Machine, Black Label Society, Audioslave, Bon Jovi, 30 Seconds To Mars, Manic Street Preachers, Pantera, Slipknot... and Amy Winehouse :P. I don't judge people by their musical taste though, I'm open to know new styles.Movies: currently, my favorite movie is Inglourious Basterds. I'm also a fan of Star Wars, Pirates of The Caribbean, Con Air, Almost Famous, most of Marvel adaptations (especially Spider Man), and I have to admit Moulin Rouge is among my favorites too (shame on me).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience I've ever had was being a teacher. Sharing your knowledge with other people and see how you're able to help somebody else develop a skill is priceless, it's an experience from which I've learned the best lessons.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and Portuguese, how to bake the best cakes or how to make a perfect and typical Brazilian caipirinha!
I want to learn how to play the piano, speak French and Spanish.
I can share my good mood and joyful personality with any one at any time!
