My friend told me about her amazing experience through CF and since my other friend and I were traveling this summer I decided to give it a try!

I'm excited to be staying in a local's home and meeting new people! This is also a great way to save some money.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Through college I've had the wonderful opportunity to meet new people through service! We went on two different service trips. On our first trip we volunteered at a shelter for kids who were unaccompanied minors crossing the border. We also put out gallons of water near a desert area in San Diego for those crossing the border(hundreds of people die from dehydration). On our second trip we worked with habitat for humanity building a house in the lower ninth ward of New Orleans. It was such a profound experience to see our progress and to meet the person that would be living in the home. A big part of my life is dedicated to serving others whenever the opportunity presents itself.
