LET'S MAKE THIS EASY FOR BOTH OF US (I hate to sound this harsh, but I get about 5 requests per day and they usually all show no interest except for the free couch):
- Please say something in your request that shows your read my profile. (Saying you read my profile doesn't count).
- Please only requests for one person.
- Please only requests for 3 nights maximum. If you request for more I will say no. I am actually flexible on this, but my experience is most people who request more than 3 nights also don't show in any way they read my profile so that says it all.
- If you end up spending more than 3 days at my place, please consider collaborating with expenses like buying some toilet paper or dish soap or stuff like that. It's the very least you could do when you're saving at least $30/night in a city like LA.
- Please only requests 1 week in advance maximum.
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to find the ultimate balance between creating income to sustain a decent life while being able to afford to continue traveling and nurturing my soul :)
Here's my website in case you'd rather see pictures than reading everything here, or in addition to know me a bit better :)

Born in the heart of Paris, I moved to Barcelona when I was nine with my mom and lived there most of my life.
At 17 I decided it was time for me to take my independence, so I took a break year from everything and went to live in Oxford.
I came back to Barcelona to finish my studies in Art. Later I lived some months in Munich where I did an internship in film. Then I tried to enter a prestigious school in Brussels, but it didn't work so I did another internship there for half a year.
Finally in January 2011 I figured out I was kinda done with my continent and maybe I should find out what are my chances of "surviving" in the US.
Here I am now, living in the US, just like my mom did 45 years ago when she was exactly my age; struggling to adapt to these continuous changes in my life, but also enjoying this self improvement and the constant apprenticeship from different cultures and ways of living, thinking, etc.
Life is crazy 76.5% of the time.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Beatles above anything, Rolling sometimes though...
From Clap your hands say yeah to Ella Fitzgerald, with Gold Panda and Frederyk Chopin in between.
Stanley Kubrick, Truffaut and Fellini above everything, Eric Rohmer and Michael Winterbottom frequently though.
From Full Metal Jacket to Breaking the waves, with 8 1/2, Mister Lonely and Gegen die Wand in between.
Some of my latest favorite films: The Act of Killing, Her and Nebraska
Wish I had more time to read books...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My summer in Benin when I was about 7 years old,
how a cousin from a cousin told me that I had to watch out for their black witch neighbor because she might transform me in a snake and how I believed that for the whole trip.
My trip with my mom to Bulgaria when I was 14, it was so beautiful in every sense (bonding with my mother and only close family at the time, meeting great people, discovering a different scenery) and being able to remember all this even after loosing all my pictures when I came back home!
