Hi, I moved to Motueka a couple of years ago. I lived in Wellington for ages, and worked as a window cleaner and abseiler most recently. Since I've been down here I've spent a lot of time working on the orchards *cough. Now I'm back cleanin' winders.

I'm looking forward to having a big garden this season (if I can keep the chook out), and working on my housebus

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm joining because I heard about it from a friend, and because I have a need for accomodation I can afford for my trips to Auckland. I do like the idea of meeting people and having a better connection to 'place' too, that's cool. I come up to Auckland once or twice a year to practice 'Systema' Russian Martial art. Fun as.

What I can offer in return is hostpitality in my home town, Motueka. I live in a bus, but there is a couch :) If nothing else I'm willing to help connect with those who might have more room available and know about camp sites, local stuff.

Top of the South Island, there's no place like it.
