I am a small town country boy that grew up near Hazel Green WI. I was home schooled for my entire K - 12 education and discovered a love of working on computers and information systems. I went to Northeast Iowa Community Collage in Pesota IA, in the fall of 2012 studying the Computer Analyst Network Administration and Tech Support. I graduated at the top of my class in May 2014 and was hired at the Benton State Bank as the Network Administrator Assistant and have been with them ever sense. I am a member of Civil Air Patrol and I recently stepped down the position of Squadron Commander in the Dubuque Composite Squadron.

As of this year I got the traveling bug and I started road tripping the USA and Canada as of August 11th and I plan to be gone a total of 8 months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world is a large beautiful place filled with many interesting people. I never did a lot of traveling as a kid besides the 4.5 hour trip to my grandparents house twice a year and the occasional trip to Florida and California the last trip was in 2010. I have always wanted to explore but was never brave enough to do something on my own until now.

Interests

A big part of who I am is mostly due to the Civil Air Patrol and I have invested alot of time and effort into the program to make it better for everyone. I also love playing video games mainly first person shooters and street racing are among my all-time favorites. Another passion is really anything with a frisbee although I don't get to play as often as I would like i still love a game when I can play one.

I climbed my first mountain in Yellowstone National Park Mt. Washburn.

I have been to 26 National Park/Monuments and counting.

I traveled 13,000 miles in my personal vehicle.
