I am an ex-pat oil and gas worker that works 28 days on and 28 days off and travelling the world on my time off. I work in Saudi Arabia. I have been to 50 countries in the past year and I am working on become a competent sailor with the goal to buy a big sail boat in the next 10 years to sail the world in once I retire. I am currently spending time in New Zealand while I take my sailing lessons in Auckland. I love New Zealand. I have recently been to Italy, Spain and Morocco and also enjoyed those countries very much. I love road trips. I love camping. I love meeting new people. I am learning to play the guitar as well and love live music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was referred to couch surfing by a number of friends that I have met during my travels. I hope to meet new life long friends and build new relationships all over the world with like minded people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to open my eyes and start experiencing life outside of what I was taught all of my life in school and in society. I left a huge career in corporate world oil and gas town Calgary to take an ex-pat job in the middle east so that I could travel and expand my horizons, learn about the world and learn about myself.
