About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spend the summer travelling in the US and Europe before relocating to Galicia for a year.

ABOUT ME

I saw my teacher's passport when I was at school and it had every single page full of stamps, and I thought that was pretty cool. I'm trying to fill mine up at the moment, but I've got a long way to go to match the aforementioned teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm relatively new to couchsurfing. I've not hosted anyone yet, but when I have my own place I would love to host some couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in Madrid once with my friend and that was a great experience and our host was lovely.

Interests

I love sport; I play rugby and a bit of football. I also play the guitar and the ukulele for fun. I like movies, especially hispanic and Japanese films.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My music taste is dubious - my job involves dancing a lot to trashy euro-pop and I have to admit that's pretty fun. I also like folk, rock, hip-hop and classical music.

Books: 100 years of Solitude is probably the best book I've read recently. Also, Le Petit Prince was a perfect little story to read on the plane.
The funniest book going is a kids' book called: 'I want my hat back' - if you ever see it, give it a read and I dare you not to laugh.

Movies: I like most Tarrantino films (Kill Bill is my favourite. I've taken abuse for that opinion, but I stand by it). I love slow moving Spanish films about war/wartime. 'La lengua de las mariposas' is probably my favourite in that mould. I didn't watch the Godfather Trilogy until recently, but I'm glad I did. The films are amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Time Square in New York is the most mind-blowing place I have ever been too; I'll never forget that. Living in London during the Olympics was also amazing; I was so proud to be a Londoner.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have plenty of interesting and pretty useless facts that I like to share. I'm always keen to learn new skills, especially languages. The aim is that one day, I'll speak 4/5 languages relatively well. Help me if you can!

Countries I’ve Visited
