ABOUT ME

Friendly and cosmopolitan American living in Stockholm. I am pursuing my Master's degree in Linguistics at Stockholm University and take a great interest in world's endless variety of languages and lifestyles. Educated at the University of North Carolina, worked for 8 years in New York City, and spent my childhood in the USA, Denmark, and Germany. I speak English, German, Danish, and Russian. Some hosts may prefer heterosexuals so I am disclosing that I am gay.

I love meeting people, eating, and cooking. Combining those three things into one evening is even better! I spend my time studying for my degree, exercising, boxing, reading, and skyping with loved ones. I also enjoy going out to cafes, bars, and the occasional night club (although I am not a fan of electronic music). Regarding cultural preferences: I prefer architecture to museum art, opera to ballet, and hip-hop and R&B over any other music genre.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent two days touring the Kakheti wine region in Georgia this summer and was struck by the delicate and fragrant vegetation and the warm people that I encountered. I spent a weekend in Tversted, Denmark, where the raw and wild coast also made a huge impression on my senses.
