I like to travel and meet new people - weird huh?

I’m in Seoul for at least the next month. I visited a friend who was a English teacher many years ago and always wanted to do it. So, I quit my office job and came to Korea to travel around for awhile to see where I might want to live. I am also looking into online coding courses. So, digital nomads- let me know if you have any advice.

I am from Cincinnati, Ohio in the USA. Most people haven’t heard of Cincinnati, but probably have heard of Kentucky, which my city borders. Kentucky is where KFC comes from and where most American whiskey comes from (bourbon whiskey).

A little about me, I worked for the airlines for awhile and got to travel with free flights. I studied professional aviation and sociology.

I listen to a lot of different music, all the classics. Recently a lot of 90's alt and hip hop. Newer artists off the top of my mind: Courtney Barnett, Car Seat Headrest, Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, Frankie Cosmos, BRONCHO, Mac DeMarco, Run The Jewels

I watch a lot of Netflix- literally every stand up comedy special, Stranger Things, Cosmos, An Idiot Abroad, Easy, Master of None, Black Mirror, Maniac, Man in the High Castle, Kim's Convenience, Maron, the first couple seasons of House of Cards, Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams

Movies: I'm a big fan of Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Judd Apatow, the Cohen brothers. I really liked Burning, just watched that.

I read mostly non-fiction, political science, philosophy books. I did read some Philip K. Dick not too long ago and want to read Man in the High Castle.
