HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a good bit over the past few years while I was living in Ghana. I am now teaching at California Polytechnic State University in the beautiful town of San Luis Obispo. My wife and I share a small apartment near downtown SLO. We have an extra single bed and a couch in our living room. If you contact me in advance we might be able to accommodate an individual or a couple.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed anybody's couch yet. I have had a good cs'ing experience though. While living in Ghana, I hosted a number of people from around the world and had only positive experiences.

Spent the night stranded, shivering with two friends, on a one-foot ledge 200 feet up a cliff.

Lived in a van for 4 1/2 months...

I studied physics and chemistry, but love all sciences. I taught physics for a few years in Ghana as a Peace Corps volunteer and now I teach at a University. I love travel and meeting people from around the world.
