My name is Nate, and I'm a sophomore at Kansas State University, majoring in Family Studies and Human Services. My goal with this degree is to help people that need help the most (people living in poverty). Upon graduation, I plan on joining the peace corp, or attending graduate school.
I've lived my whole life in Kansas.

I'm hoping to gain experiences that will change my life. I grew up surrounded by a religious family, but never really made my faith my own. I feel as though I am in my formative stages of my life, and in order to gain a sincere and true knowledge, I want to expose myself to different people and lifestyles so I can be confident in who I am.

I received a fellowship with a non-profit organization based out of Washington D.C. that's mission is to end poverty through political advocacy. This fellowship included a trip to an international conference where I met world leaders for global health systems. I also spent a day lobbying on capital hill lobbying for anti-poverty policy on global and domestic levels.
