Hi! I'm Nathaniel, and I'm new to Couchsurfing. I just turned 33, and I live in Philadelphia, PA. I love my city (other than the cold winters!) I also love traveling, though it feels harder than ever to set aside money for travel these days. I'm a huge baseball fan, especially of the Phillies, and that dovetails great with one of my jobs as a stadium beer vendor. Working at Citizens Bank Park is a childhood dream of mine come true, though it is hard work! I'm also a huge music listener, mostly electronic-based music, though I also enjoy rock, rap, R&B, soul, and jazz-influenced music as well. In the summertime I play softball, and I use my longboard to get around town - I'm very much a summer person. Feeling the sun on my skin opens me up like a flower. I look forward to meeting you on my travels and learning about your life!

Baseball is my passion, and softball keeps me active. Longboarding has been my mode of getting around town when the weather is warm for over a decade. I'm a social butterfly and I don't mind a libation for fun.

I enjoy all kinds of music, from electronic to rock to rap and beyond. I listen to lots of producers: Diplo, Mild Minds, SWIM, Pretty Girl, Tourist...the list goes on. I also enjoy Wheatus, The Silversun Pickups, Incubus, ELO, and many more artists who don't just play mixers and sequencers! When it comes to movies, I love indie movies, thrillers, dramas, war movies, and foreign films. Lately I've been trying to catch up on older classics I've missed, and I've happened to watch a lot of French films. Some favorites are Ex Machina, Anomalisa, Brokeback Mountain, A Real Pain, and Bound.
