Hosting and surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few surfers at my home in New Orleans, and I have met lots of other couch surfers through friends.
I just had my first experience surfing in Curitiba, Brazil. We shared some great food, and I slept in a hammock!
All my experiences with Couch Surfers/Surfing have been wonderful.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of music and many books! I like variety, so I could spend all day listing books and music that I am interested in.
I don't watch movies often, but I usually like the ones I do see.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two great friends and I just spend three nights on Ilha do Mel, an island off the coast of southern Brazil.
We hiked around the beautiful island, swam in the ocean, ate maracujá off of trees along the trails, danced on the beach, saw very bright stars from the back of a boat at night, slept every night in hammocks overlooking a thick jungle....a truly amazing weekend!

I always love to share music.
While I am in Brazil, I want to learn as much Portuguese as I can.
