I like food, both the making and the eating of it. I like music. I've been singing in choirs all my life and occasionally pick up the trumpet. I like the North. I like politics and I like sports some of the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music, I hate almost no music. Lots of classical, blues, rock etc. Some artists I like are Neil Young, Springsteen, Muddy Waters, Nas, Arcade Fire, Phish, Matthew Sweet, Fiona Apple, Lauryn Hill, Talib Kweli, ...

I've been trying to watch some classic movies recently, since I have seen almost nothing made pre-2000. I really liked Brazil, Fargo, Little Shop of Horrors, Apocalypse Now, Eyes Wide Shut... I also watch way too many TV shows.

I mostly read nonfiction these days. I should read some fiction.
