I take photos of benches from around the world!
Also I am designing and making the next evolution of the fanny pack: The Büty Bag!
I work to live rather than live to work. I am currently working with an Educational Technology company in Redwood City, CA called Course Hero. We are helping students have access to study documents as well as tutor services.
I enjoy my weekends by working on some wood projects, surfing, reading, or finding local places to check out!
Give responsibly but love uncontrollably.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Loving more than judging.
Listening more than complaining.
Sharing more than taking.
I've hosted only a few times before but the CS community has truly been a blessing and I love meeting new people! I still keep in touch with most of the people I've stayed with and it's the best feeling to know that I have friends all over the world now because of the time we shared thanks to Couchsurfing!
Recently I've been dabbling with designing my own rendition of the hip bag! It's been a struggle to find manufacturers and designers to say the least but the experience is invaluable and exciting! Hopefully one day I will be able to do that full-time!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a 90's kid so all the oldies and I love [lyrical] hip hop, jazz, and rap.
I generally like sci-fi, foreign, or over-the-top action movies. John Wick is awesome.
I love all books. I can spend all day in a library reading all sorts of random goodies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For my 28th birthday last year on January 28, 2017, I went to Svalbard, Norway to recharge from being burned out from work. On the day of my birthday, I went dog sledding into the Polar night with just the pack of huskies and my guide. When I got back into town that afternoon, I leisurely checked out all the souvenir shops in the area and made my way to Restaurant Kroa where I had invited a dozen strangers that I had met on the plane, at the hostel, and around the area. Almost everyone made it out! We enjoyed a laughter-filled meal of all of Svalbards unique tastes: whale, reindeer, wild berries. The newly re-married couple I had met on the flight over got me a birthday card with a Svalbard souvenir shirt! After dinner we went to Karlsberger Pub, known to have a serious selection of whiskeys and cognacs, and we had a merry time till who knows when.
To cap off the night, I went back to my hostel and was able to see and capture the Aurora Borealis gleaming behind the mountain and glowing eerily over the silent snow.
Best birthday ever.
